Here we are on the slopes of Mount Cameroon, culminating at 4096 meters. A torrent of a dozen yards wide and about 40 to 50 cm depth available to us. We find the Chromaphyosemion poliaki in large numbers, as expected. But the surprise came when we took the water parameters.
This torrent, very fast flowing oxygenated down volcanic slopes. It is normal to have a basic pH. Basic yes ... but with a value of 8.88 for a conductivity of 165μS! Good luck to reproduce it in your tank!
