Travel to Cameroon - January 2011
Discovering killifishes in their natural environment...
6 - One day, we must... |
The adventure is not over yet ... we have one test: the airport! Animosity is the same as when we arrived, so one last flick of stress. After the baggage check, the "circuit Hell" begins: a police station, then another, then another, then the security checkpoint, then again the police ... not forgetting the airport tax ... We finally arrive at the boarding. "Sir, you are through customs?". "Uh, I dunno, I followed the path". "So you're not past. They are waiting for you. Do the opposite, and you get to see them." No comments!
After "discussing" several tens of minutes, they agreed to let me go with the fish! And we start the obstacle course ...
Once on the plane, we were relieved.
The journey was long. Between meals and turbulence, the night was restless and sleep impossible.
We arrived at 6AM in Paris. outside temperature ... 6°C! Aie! It could have been worse, but the shock was enough! Change of aircraft, an hour flight, and we're in Bordeaux at 8:30 AM. A long day awaits us: Acclimatization and dissemination to people coming in the day.
