D17 & D18 - This is a career-ender

We left (8h30) towards Cap Estérias, with a "clandos" who will wait for us at the forest entrance for 1h30. The forest is particularly dry, and after 30min walk, we fall (as expected) on the spot of Chroma alpha. On the way back, I try to advance my eyes wide open so as to soak one last time of this magnificent primary forest.
Back to the hotel in the late morning, we take a well deserved break before preparing everything for the return. Thibault, leaving (provisionally) Gabon, came to spend some things with me to bring him back to France.
After 3 hours to pack fishes, the 20 breathable bags are ready and the suitcases curled up. All you have to do is wait...
7:30 pm. We left, towards the airport, very close to the hotel. After a checking suitcases a little bit long, it's time to have a last drink every 3. Wen leaving from Tchibanga, I will not see him again unfortunately.
Except that ... just after ordering, I hear at the airport microphone: "Mr Christophe AUBIN is asked in the recording room for a check of the suitcases". Well ... it's been a long time!
But more fear than evil. Luckily, the customs officer was more intrigued by Thibault's easel painting than by fishes. A simple explanation that these are my aquarium fishes will suffice to convince him. Yes yes ... it is quite normal to travel with his fishes on holidays...
So we can drink our last drink quietly.
9.30 pm. It's time to say goodbye, the throat a little tight and sad to leave a such beautiful nature. But it's certainly a goodbye...
Once is not customary, I will not close the eye of the night in the plane. The arrival in Bordeaux is made with (just) half an hour late. Fishes are fine. It is time to acclimatize them, and to gradually resume a normal life !
